Support for Windows 7 and 8 has ended

Microsoft officially ended the support for Windows 7 and Windows 8 on January 2020. We focus our research and developments on the latest version of Windows and starting from January 14th, the Dartfish software updates will only be supported on Windows 10.

Focusing our efforts on more modern versions of the Windows operating system allows us to develop the features and functionality most requested by our community, while ensuring optimal performance that takes advantage of modern hardware

We know change can be difficult, so we are here to help you with recommendations for what to do next and to answer questions about end of support.

What does end of support mean?

On January 14, 2020, Dartfish software will still work on older versions of Windows, but Dartfish will no longer provide the following:

  • Technical support for any issue
  • New features
  • Maintenance releases

While you may continue to use your PC running Windows 7 or Windows 8, without the guaranteed compatibility between new updates and older OS versions there is a higher risk of un-optimized processes and bugs. Find the system requirements on Dartfish support website.
