The User Settings are all the settings defined that can be customized to improve the ergonomy of the software based on one's preferences. The User Settings include the following settings:
- Library folders
- Language of the software
- Theme of the interface
- Destination folders of the various export tools
- IP camera settings
- Layout of the different workspaces
- ...
You can export and import your User Settings. This is useful when you install Dartfish on another computer and want to retrieve all your preferences quickly.
Export User Settings
- Click on Tools > Import and Export Settings...
- Select "Export selected environment settings" and click on "Finish"
- Select a destination folder. The settings are saved as a .dfsettings file
Import User Settings
- Click on Tools > Import and Export Settings...
- Select "Import selected environment settings" and click on "Finish"
- Select the .dfsettings file and click on "Open"
- Restart the software to make sure all settings are applied
