In order to subscribe to private collections you need to be invited by the administrator from the organisation which owns the channel. You can find a link to contact him/her on the home page of the channel in which you are interested.
The exception to this is where a channel is selling access to its dartfish.tv content. Now you can pay for a subscription to that collection. The amount you pay and the duration of access are all under the control of the channel’s owner.
