This document introduces navigation trees as a tool for exploring content efficiently. It outlines the key features and practical steps for using navigation trees, including where to find them and how to navigate through content. Readers will learn how to start over or go back, work with results, and access quick tips to maximize their experience. The summary also highlights the limits and expected behavior of navigation trees, and provides answers to frequently asked questions to support users in getting the most out of this functionality.

Introduction

Navigation trees help you find videos (and their events) by following a guided path of up to five levels. Each level shows only values that lead to content, so you avoid dead ends. You can switch results between Grid and List views, copy a Shareable link to reopen or share the same view, and at any level choose Show all to exit the tree early and see results for your current path.

Where to find navigation trees

  • Channel Home page: the Explore section lists the available trees (typically 1–20).
  • Videos page: the same Explore section is available without leaving the channel context.

Step-by-step: use a navigation tree

  1. Open a tree from the Explore section.
  2. Level 1: pick a value. The next level updates to show only values that lead to content.
  3. Levels 2–5: keep refining as needed (video categories first, then event categories).
  4. All Videos Of: {Category} — {Keyword} (available at any level): click to exit the tree at that level and display all matching videos for your current path.
  5. Review results: switch between Grid (thumbnails) and List (denser listing).

In List, expand a video to see its matching events.

Go back or start over

  • Breadcrumb: step back one or more levels.
  • Reset filters: clear all selections and restart from Level 1.

Working with results

Views

  • Grid: visual browsing via thumbnails.
  • List: efficient for scanning many items and inspecting events per video.

Events

  • In List, expand a video to display the events that match your current path.

Shareable link

  • Copy the Shareable link to reopen or share the exact same view (same selections, same layout).

Tip

  • If you used All Videos Of: {Category} — {Keyword} at a mid-level, your results reflect the path up to that level;

you can re-enter the tree (via the Breadcrumb) to refine further.

Playlist of events

  • When your filters target events (per video), you can view the result as a playlist of events.

Use View playlist to play the filtered events back to back.

Quick tips

  • Looking for events? Prefer List, then expand a video.
  • Keywords vary by channel: admins define keyword names and order.

Limits and expected behavior

  • Up to five levels per tree.
  • Options are contextual and update after each selection.
  • All Videos Of: {Category} — {Keyword} is available at every level and displays results for the path selected so far.
  • Some trees may not display events directly; use List to inspect events per video.

FAQ

  • Why don’t I see certain values?
They would lead to no content in the current context; only useful options are shown.
  • How do I share my current search?
Click Shareable link to copy a URL that restores the same view.
  • Where are the events?
Switch to List and expand a video to see the matching events.
