This article helps you determine whether your computer meets the system requirements for Dartfish software and guides you in choosing the right hardware for your workflow, from basic video capture to advanced multi-angle setups.



Quick compatibility check

Your computer should meet all of the following:

  • Windows 11 (64-bit)

  • Intel Core i7 / i9 (12th gen or newer) or equivalent

  • 16 GB RAM minimum (32 GB recommended)

  • SSD storage for recording


If one of these points is not met, Dartfish 2024 may not run reliably.

  • Windows running in a virtual machine (Parallels, VMware, VirtualBox, etc.)


Dartfish 20224 is supported on Windows only. Other operating systems are not supported at this time.

This setup has been tested and approved for smooth performance across most workflows, including multi-angle capture.

Hardware recommendations

The following guidelines are intended for users who want more technical detail when choosing hardware.


Processors 

Recommended

  • Intel Core i7 or i9 (12th generation or newer)
  • Intel Core Ultra 7 or 9*

Alternatives:

  • AMD Ryzen 7 or 9 (6000 generation or newer)

Not Recommended:

  • Processors with model names ending in or V (low-power models)
  • *Intel Core Ultra with Intel Arc Graphics 140V (known stability issues)


Graphics

Recommended:

  • Intel iGPU with Quick Sync Video technology.

Alternative (if your processor does not include an iGPU):

  • NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 Series or newer.
  • AMD Radeon RX 6000 Series or newer.


Memory

  • 32GB (Recommended)
  • 16GB (Minimum)


Storage

  • The software requires 400 MB for installation.
  • Approximate recording storage requirements for one video angle at 12 Mb/s:
    1. 1 TB SSD ≈ 200 hours of recording
    2. 2 TB SSD ≈ 400 hours of recording
    3. More storage is required for longer sessions and additional video angles.
