Start streaming with myDartfish Express

Capture the stream in Dartfish software
Prerequisites
- Only available on IOS devices
- Requires a myDartfish Mobile Plus, 360, 360 S, Live, Live S, Pro or Pro S license
- All devices need to be connected to the same network
Start streaming with myDartfish Express
- Download the latest version of My Dartfish Express (available since the version 7.3.20104)
- Check that all the devices are connected on the same network
- Open MyDartfish Express
- Select the Hamburger Menu on the top Left and click on Share my Camera
- The RTSP address of your device is displayed on the top. The message: The stream will be available on ... means that for the moment no feed is shared on the network.
- You can choose the resolution, frame rate and bitrate for the stream by clicking on the settings button
- The different encoding profile are listed. They will vary based on the camera of your device
The quality of the network will have an impact of the quality of the video received on the other devices. Lower the bitrate if the video is shaky or if the delay with live keeps increasing
- To start the streaming click on the red camera icon. The message: The stream is now available on… means that you have started to stream
Capture the feed in myDartfish Express
- Setup the stream in Express
- Open the second My Dartfish Express mobile
- Press on the IP Camera icon
- Press on Setup to configure the source settings
- Press on scan to discover all the Dartfish devices that can be used as video source
- Once the streaming device appears, select it and press on Back
- You are now ready to start capturing the video
Capture the stream in Dartfish software
- Setup the stream in Express.
- Open Dartfish Software on your laptop and go in the Live workspace.
- Click on source on the top left to setup the RTSP address.
- Click on network cameras.
- A pop-up window appears. Click on add.
- A second pop-up window appears.
- Copy the RTSP address displayed in Dartfish Express and add a name to easily find the camera in the list. (In this case the address is: rtsp://192.168.0.149:10554/stream).
- Click on OK and wait until the camera has been reached.
- Close all the windows to come back to the list of cameras.
- The IOS device is now listed with the camera name given in the step 12.
- Tick the box to select the camera
- Close the Source window
- Click on the button start recording to record the feed of IOS device.
Dartifsh 10 Classic and older software versions don't support the capture of iOS streams
